The Stormwater Conference occurs annually and rotates its location throughout the country. This conference is designed to offer delegates a platform for multiple purposes and attendees can cultivate their technical knowledge, staying updated on new and cutting-edge stormwater information. 

The event serves as an opportunity to upskill in various facets of stormwater science and management while keeping abreast of the latest innovations. Moreover, it facilitates the creation of business opportunities, aiding in the development of corporate profiles and allowing for extensive networking among peers.

 

Avenues manages the entire project from start to finish – this involves rebranding the Conference design branding, website, set up the call for abstracts portal – overseeing the reviewing and then programme process, managing the speakers, keynotes, building the expo portal, expo management, managing the registration process from start to finish and managing the sponsorship process. This is all the lead up work and then the onsite delivery. We work with Water New Zealand and the Conference committee throughout the entire project. Working through venue and city options yearly. 

Annually, the Conference experiences significant growth in attendance, sponsorships, and exhibitor numbers. What was once a relatively small-scale event accommodated in hotel conference facilities has now expanded its scope to larger conference venues. Over the span of just a few years, the expo has notably grown from 15 stands to 40 indicative of its rapid development and increasing prominence within the industry.
